The Devil is in the Details

For those who know me, that is a very true statement. I can completely lose myself in details. For this costume, I am going to be very picky on what I use. This includes accessories. The accessories will include: hair decoration; gloves; stockings; jewelry; make-up; shoes; a shawl (still undecided on this); a fan. I think that's everything. I already have the shoes & jewelry. However, I think I would like to get a locket brooch. I was thinking I could put a picture of Byron in it. It is for mourning right? The gloves should be wrist gloves & net. For the fan I want something nicer than a Battenburg lace one. For stockings I want something unique (even though the gown will be floor length (nothing should be overlooked). I'm still looking for something satisfactory. I have some hairpieces, but want something like a fancy comb or barrette to accent the style. I'm still undecided on the shawl. I've seen some very nice ones, but I don't know if it will be necessary. We shall see. I have found some examples of what I may get. I may also try to make somethings depending on what is available. In 2008 I made my own costume jewelry so I know I can do that. I will need to post pics of what I already have. I have my necklace, earrings, corset and shoes. I also want to start taking care of my skin because I want that beautiful contrast. I want my skin to be as clear as it can be. I also need to take care of my pores. I have large pores on my face. Hopefully soon I will be going back to the YMCA & start shaping up. That will make the dress look better too.
