Things to get done

This week I have to get some of the small things done for my Halloween costume.  Tonight I am going to spray paint a sandlewood fan a glossy black & replace the tassel to a better color.  I also want to dye my shoes this week.  I have shoes I used for a wedding many years ago.  Since they are fabric covered I am going to dye them myself.  I don't need 100% perfection since they're going to be used for a costume.  I think I can do a well enough job.  I also need to cut out my glove pattern.  I need to make sure I have enough leftover black lace to make them.  I'm pretty sure I do.  I also need to dig out the black velveteen for the bodice accents.  My locket needs the rosette beads hooked on & the cameo glued on.  I need to buy the glue soon.  I also want to find a small picture of my late baby cat Byron to put in the locket.  I may need to print one up.  Yikes, I just remembered my necklace needs to be fixed & I need to add extra rings to my bracelet.  I will be ordering my dress patterns this weekend.  I have my fabric for my petticoat already so I can get started right away on that.  I plan on buying the rest of my fabric next weekend.  I will buy the boning & casing for the hoop probably late next month.   As long as I have everything else done beforehand, I think I can get that done in a few days.  A week at the longest.  Wish me luck at making my first cage hoop!
