Crash & Burn

My blouse failed.  After I got the panels done, the collar I already made was too short.  After trying to fix that, I created more problems.  Tucks are the devil!  However, I am still going to finish the dress part as it's mostly complete.  I will wear a white Loli blouse that has a similar pattern as the false blouse.  It won't be the same, but for now it will have to do.  I'm hoping once the dress is done, it will all come together.  At least now I don't have to color back the bustle skirt to the blouse fabric.  I was having some trouble with that.  It's easier to match white.  I'll probably get more use out of white overskirt as opposed to an off white one anyway.  Ugh, Mary Magdalene, you defeated me.  Maybe I'll tackle this project again.  But it will be after I master tucks.  Why they give me so much trouble, I'll never know.  Pics to come when the dress is complete.
