Upcoming sewing projects

In reference to this post: http://sarhaclembys.blogspot.com/2010/07/new-lolita-dress.html I am actually going to get my butt in gear & make it.  I have all of the fabric & notions except the bustle skirt fabric.  I'm plan to make it very close to the original but put the zipper on the side instead of the back.  I don't want to disprupt the back collar.  I also want to make a pair of long black bloomers.  I bought the lace edging for them this past Saturday so I have everything I need to make them.  I plan to wear the dress to dinner during our trip to Frankenmuth, MI in mid-February.  I figure if I can put together my costume from Halloween in 2 months, I can put this dress together in 1.5 months.  With ruffler foot & pleater in hand, I will be unstoppable! ; )  Of course I'll post pics of the progress.  I'll be putting my hubby to work to aid me in the fitting.  I have the mock up pieces cut already because I used this pattern once before.  I just hate the 12 darts I have to put in.  Ugh.  Darts are not fun.  But I am still excited to see the outcome.  And I'll have another Loli dress!  Woo-hoo!
