Been So Busy

Not working on sewing projects.  I have 2 weddings (1 I'm in) and now I will be moving soon, my sewing has been put on the back burner.  But I've decided I must find time for my Loli dress.  I have the skirt & bodice started already.  I'm thinking Friday night I will attempt to work on it.  At least get me to the point where I can cut fabric for the bodice.  After that it will be assembly.  For some reason I hesitate @ fitting & it takes me awhile to get something done.  Also my Halloween costume fabric is due to be delivered tomorrow.  Yikes!  I'm hoping to start that after the move.  The dress is actualy simple in design & the fabric will speak for itself.  There will be minimal decorations.  The fabric is just so cool, I don't need to do much to it.  I figure if I can make a costume like last year's in 2 months, I can definitely get this one done in that amount of time as well.  This time I won't need to make a hoop (I just need to fix some things on the one I have) & then make the overskirt, skirt & bodice.  There's less complicated pieces to this one (thank goodness, I need a break!) and no crazy pleating.  So my goal is to have the Loli dress before I move & my costume started after.  Lets see how that plan pans out.  Wish me luck!
