Doing some sewing

So I guess I haven't been completely honest.  I have been working on a sewing project.  However, it's been a slow go.  I am making a Regency day dress for a very good friend of mine.  She chose a cornflower blue cotton with tiny daisies all over it.  I've already made her "bralette".  The bralette is made out of the same fabric as the dress.  I used decorative stitching for the first time & it looks really cute.  As for the dress, I only have the bodice fabric cut as I needs to be fitted.  The rest will follow once that's done.  I'm hoping to make another bralette for myself as my first one didn't fit properly.  I think I will be taking my first Regency day dress & take off the long sleeves & replace them with short sleeves.  I just hope I have enough leftover fabric to do this.  Anyway, that's what I'm working on for now.  Unfortunately I don't have any pics at the moment.  I'll post them when I do.  Things will speed up when August gets here as that's when I plan to get my major projects started.  Stay tuned until then!
