The Year Ahead

So the hubby & I decided that 2012 would be our last year to go to New Orleans.  Oddly, I'm ok with this.  So this means I'm not likely to go all out & make a big Halloween costume next year.  So what am I to do?  I decided that I will catch up on several projects I haven't started & started then put aside.  I need to make the second curtain for my sewing room & put them both up properly.  I want to paint & fix up my room.  After that I will begin my projects.  I have a couple Lolita dresses I want to make (already have the fabric) & I think I will start thinking about Renaissance Faire outfits & a Civil War day dress so I can go to re-enactments.  I can go in regular clothing, but what fun is that?  So this is what I have planned for 2013.  Not having a Halloween costume project hanging over my head, I feel a little more relaxed & that I can take my time getting things done.  Strange I never thought I'd feel this way.
