Sewing again!

I was hesitant to make some new Loli dresses & blouses until I got down to where I wanted to be.  Thanks to the encouragement of my hubby, I'm going to make some new pieces.  I'm taking structure designs from the Japanese brands to make the new things work.  I plan to put shirring & corset lacing on the back & have waist ties.  I'll be able to get more wear out of them this way.  I will do that with the blouses as well.  I have 1 JSK started from about 3 years ago and fabric for 2 more JSK's.  I have fabric for 1 blouse & maybe more but I need to check my fabric stash first.  This is perfect because there are 2 meets coming up & I should have enough time to make a new outfit for each meet.  The JSK I have already started is a very light blue (it's somewhere in my previous posts) & I have some leftover plum cotton sateen that I think I will make into an empire waisted JSK.  The other fabric is black with a fancy white design on it.  I'm still deciding on the style for that one.  The fabric I have for the blouse is off white & I have all the trim & buttons bought for it.  I'm really excited to get started.  My hubby took my measurements & I think I may be fitting into pattern measurements so I won't have to do too much altering.  That will get them done much faster.  I think tonight I will start digging through my fabric & patterns & get everything ready.  I plan to get a full start on Thursday (my now designated sewing day during the week).  Pics to come as I make progress.  Stay tuned!
