Innocent World JSK Progress Pics (almost done!)

Today I nearly finished this project.  I'm about 90% done.  It has given me much grief during the sewing process, I had to walk away today & start something else.  However, I only need to tighten at least 1 button hole (that holds the shoulder straps on), make & sew on the bows, fix the bodice trim because I accidentally pulled it out (grr!) & do some finishing on the waist seam (not all the fabric got sew in).  So it's a bunch of hand sewing.  I'm fairly happy with it.  The waist & skirt are a little longer than I hoped.  But it's too late to change that.  I think the longer skirt makes it look a little more classic anyway.

I also started working on the blouse that I will wear underneath it.  I'm so happy that when I did my mock up, I only had to trim a little off the shoulders.  The rest fit perfectly!  Before I used to have to do so much work to make it fit.  I'm so elated!  So I was able to cut & sew the body.  I still need to sew on buttons the collar & sleeves.  I'm not putting a ruffle on the bottom because I think this will worn mostly with JSK's & tucked into skirts.  It seems if I wear a Loli blouse untucked, it adds unwelcome bulk.  So the bottom will be plain.  I also still need to pick put the buttons to use.

On to the photos!
