I was going to make another Loli dress at my leisure with some plum colored cotton sateen that I had leftover. My Loli friends & I got invited back to the Dickens Christmas Festival in Cambridge, OH to participate in their parade. This sounds like UBER fun. Problem is is that's in early November. Yikes! That means right after I finish my Halloween costume I need to get started on this Loli dress. Whew, I didn't expect this to come so quickly. At least it's another pattern I'm very familiar with & it "should" go smoothly. We'll see about that. Anyway, here's a previous post of the dress I want to replicate. I may not be able to put all the detail on or sleeves because it depends on how much leftover fabric I have. I may have enough to make a JSK (leave sleeves off) & leave off the gathered detail on the skirt. I probably won't be able to make waist ties either. But we shall see. This will also give me the chance to re-try tucks. I'm excited about that. I'm also debating on making pleated ruffles as opposed to regular ruffles. I'm not sure if the pleats are very Loli. Also, they may be too time consuming. We'll see how things go. Anyway, here's the dress.
