Next Project

Now that the Halloween costume is done, I am starting my next project.  This is for the Dickens Fest Parade on 11/9.  I am making a replica of this dress (see link).  I will use purple cotton sateen.  This is leftover fabric so I may need to alter parts of the dress depending on how much fabric I have.  I may have to leave off the sleeves & not make waist ties.  But this all remains to be seen.  Last night I started the mock up of the skirt & hope to have that part done tonight.  Then I will start the mock on the bodice.  Anyway, here's the link for the original dress picture.
