Last night I sewed on the trim for the back lacing & found out I sewed it on way too low. Of course this happened after I sewed on the lining. I may just remove the trim & not have lacing (not a big loss). The lacing would only be decorative since I made this coat to fit very snug. I also hand fixed the pockets & sewed on button details on them. Here's what I still need to do (I need to have this done by 10/12/13).
Hem the bottom of coat
Sew on functional front buttons & closure
Determine length of sleeves & cut them
Make pleats for sleeve cuffs
Cut lining for sleeves
Sew on sleeves once cuffs & lining are sewn in
Fit bodice/cut outside & lining fabric
Sew together & sew in zipper
Buy purple flower(s) for mini hat (already have)
Determine accessories, hosiery & shoes
So much to do, so little time!
