Victorious!

Almost every single time I had a coupon for Joann's the thing I wanted was already on sale.  I have left that store so many times so angry & empty-handed.  This weekend I had a 60% off coupon & was praying to whoever would listen that I'd be able to use it.  I needed fabric for 2 different projects.  I needed black quilted cotton & some nice fabric for my Renn Faire/Halloween costume.  The quilted cotton was not on sale.  OMG!  It was $9.99/yrd & I needed 5 yrds.  I got all 5 yrds for about $20.  What a steal!  I was so happy I was able to find the other fabric & use my 40% off coupon.  NEVER, NEVER have I been so fortunate there.  I go there with a very specific shopping list.  I'm not going to use the coupon & buy frivolous stuff that's not on sale just because I have the coupon.  That's wasteful to me.  I don't expect to be this lucky there again, so for now I will bask in my little victory. 

This now sets me for a good while on fabric.  I shouldn't need anything else for a good while.  BTW my Renn Faire dress is coming along quite nicely.  I'll post pics when I can.
