Shopping for Fabric

This past Saturday I went to Joann's.  I was prepared for the usual disappointment.  I had a satisfactory experience.  I wanted black & white cotton for 2 Lolita blouses & a pretty floral cotton for 1 Lolita jumperskirt (JSK).  Joann's was having a sale on all of their quilting fabrics.  I found the fabric for the blouses but failed to find something pretty for the JSK.  I decided to buy more of the black fabric for the JSK (can't really go wrong there).  Since all the cottons were on sale I sprung for the cotton sateen for all.  That is one of my favorite fabrics.  It will go really well with the classic style of Lolita I going for.  I also bought some trim for the bolero.  Their trims were a disappointment.  I've been looking online for some more.  Overall it was a decent trip.  Best part was I only spent half of my fabric budget.  Now if I had more time, I could make more things!  Once things get going I'll start to post pics.  Till then...
