Update on Nightgown

I started it last night.  I really like this pattern because its really easy.  I got most of the body done.  I did run into a couple small problems though.  I found out I didn't buy enough fabric for the ruffles on the bottom.  No worries & can buy some more.  Also I sewed the front & back & realized I forgot to put in the line of elastic on the back.  Oops!  It was ok because I was able to add it afterwards.  After putting on my dressform I noticed that its really long (lower calf-it's supposed to go to my knees).  I'm going to have to cut off some of the bottom.  I'm glad this issues were minor & could be remedied easily.  Tonight I plan to finish it by adding the elastic to the front & back neckline, adding the cap sleeves & shortening the length.  I will have to add the ruffles on at a later date.  I will probably be able to wear it this weekend.  It will be comfortable because I chose 100% white cotton.  It feels so good to the touch.  For anyone needing a cute girly nightgown, I recommend this pattern.  It's really easy & can be done in a day.  Once I'm done I'll post pics.
