Concert Shirt Update

I cut out my fabric last night & tried it on will pinned.  Needless to say I poked myself a lot.  Anyway, it seems a bit small.  This may turn into a "wear under the corset" shirt instead of my original plan of wearing on the outside.  Oh well, my corset is pretty enough to wear on the outside.

Small update on my Halloween costume.  I've decided I am bound & determined to make this this year.  I decided to start small on my purchases for now & slowly work on it.  Today I'm going to do some bodice research.  I need to do a different look than what the pattern looks like.  It's just not entirely to my liking.  Against my previous plans, I will look a little past 1869 for ideas.  I found 2 awesome sites with very inspirational costume photos.  They are historical w/some liberties taken.  This has inspired me to stray a little away from my original plan.
