The excitement is building

The top of my head is about to pop off.  Last night I did some more work on my costume.  I ironed the side skirt bows & they look so much better.  They lay better.  Even my hubby who wasn't sure about them said "Wow" after they were ironed & pinned on.  I went ahead & ordered my boning & casing.  They should hopefully be here sometime next week.  I cut the fabric & grosgrain ribbon for that also last night.  Other than the pleats & hoop, only a few more small things need to be done.  I'm so happy.  Actually I'm really giddy.  I don't think I've been this excited about anything I've done before.  I'm thinking I won't put the ruffle on the underskirt until I've gotten the hoop finished.  That way I will have a better idea of where I need to place the ruffle so it just sits above the ground.  I don't want to it touch & drag too much.  The back might do that a little bit.  We shall see.  I will post pics when it's completely done.  At this point, progress pics will just seem redundant.  After that I will work on the gloves & fascinator.  After that I think I will be 100% complete.  Whew!
