Little update

Now that I finally received my pleater I can start creating the pleated ruffles.  I need to make these for the over & underskirt.  I was very happy to realize that I had more than enough black sateen left over to do one skirt with a little left over to start the other one (I used the same skirt pattern for both).  This means I only need 1 3/4 yards more of black sateen.  I was thinking I was going to need much more.  Yay for that!  And I have coupons.  So I need to sew the strips I cut together then hem them.  After than I can start pleating.  It's going to be a long tedious process, but I think the look will be incredible when I sew them onto the skirts.  Tomorrow I get to do my shopping.  I will get my buttons, trim & fabric.  That should finish it up.  Next week I will put in my order for my boning.  I'm trucking along!
