And it begins

Tonight I am going to cut my skirt & sleeve pieces from my fabric.  Since these don't need to be fitted, I can have them ready.  This weekend I will take a scrap & buy matching thread (oops, forgot to do that).  I'm a little behind but having that much done will make me feel much better.  I probably won't get to fitting my bodice mock up until next week (I have been SO busy!).  Of course as I make progress I will post pics.  I'm happy to finally get started!  At least this time I only need to make a skirt & bodice.  Last time I made a hoop, 3 skirts & a bodice.  I accomplished that in 2 months.  That's pretty speedy for me as fall is my uber busy time.  So I figure in about a month I can complete this costume.  Wish me luck!
