I worked on my Loli JSK's skirt ruffle yesterday. It came out pretty well. However, I forgot to remove the stitch finger when I did the rolled hem & the hem came out a little looser than it should have. I think to the untrained eye it will look fine. I just hope it holds up to the washing machine.
I also bought some things for my Renn Faire headpiece. I bought 2 black roses, some sparkly decorations, some sparkly silver trim & the pins for the beads that go around the top. I also decided not to replace the front panel of my underskirt. There were less "pinches" that came a part than I remembered. I should be able to fix those. With time & money getting tight, I'm glad I don't have to replace the entire panel.
I plan to work on both these projects this weekend since it's a long weekend. If I can get ahead I'll make a Renn shirt for my hubby. It will be something piratey/Renn style.
