First setback, hopefully the last.

Last night I cut the front pattern pieces to my Winter'Lita coat.  I needed to see where to start the embroidery of the Alsatian eagle.  The coat is made up of narrow strips that start narrow at the top & widen at the skirt.  This means there would be a seam to either embroider over or have it get caught in a seam.  I'm still losing weight & I don't know how much I will have to alter the pattern.  Knowing it would take a long time to do the embroidery, I can't really wait until August (at least).  I decided to forgo the embroidery.  I'm a bit disappointed because this would have added some WOW.  Perhaps I will use some jewelry or some other embellishment.  I haven't even gotten seriously started & I already have a setback.  Pray it's my last one!
