What I've been doing.

I haven't been doing a whole lot lately because I'm still trying to lose weight & want to wait until I drop another significant amount before getting back into some serious sewing.  However, I've done a little.  About a month or so ago I bought a black tulle bed canopy.  I want to sew wide black satin trim to the edges of the canopy drapes.  I did one edge last night & it was easier than I expected.  Usually tulle is such a monster to work with.  The other project I started is my old Anna House dress.  Since I failed at selling it, I decided to see if I could get another look out of it.  I removed the bell sleeves & plan to narrow the shoulders & fit the waist.  After removing the sleeves the dress had a whole new look.  It definitely has an old school Lolita look to it.  Also, the bows are removable so I can put them where I want.  Here are the pics.
